UK Law School Rankings

Prestigious law firms may only consider graduates of certain universities but other universities may have particularly high graduate employment prospects. Postgraduate students should note that rankings are based on information about undergraduate courses, so may not directly reflect the position of an LLM degree. However, law subject rankings will give an impression of the university’s reputation, strength of the law department, and student satisfaction of the teaching and course.

The list below is taken from the Guardian University Guide which takes information from the National Student Survey to rank universities in a number of categories. These include student satisfaction of the course overall, satisfaction of teaching, satisfaction of feedback and assessment, staff-student ratio, money spent on each student, average entry qualifications achieved by students, and the percentage of graduates who are employed within six months of graduation (graduate employability).
