Alanis is a Canadian-Panamanian Legal Intern at J17 Capital Inc., NCA Candidate, and soon-to-be lawyer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (with distinction) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B. degree (Honors) from the University of Leicester (United Kingdom). In 2021, Alanis founded her Legal Mentorship by Alanis initiative and was elected as a Director of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and Equal Voice.
