We would like to invite you to join a Law webinar with the University of Law (ULaw) taking place on Thursday, June 8th at 2 pm ET. The webinar will feature the University of Law International Officer Ranjitha Gowda and ULaw Associate Professor and Program Director Janet Wright.

Janet Wright

Associate Professor and National Program Director - LLB

After reading law at Jesus College, Cambridge and an initial career as a solicitor, Janet started at the then College of Law in 2001 to focus on training. She has taught across a range of law programmes and has previously held the roles of Head of Tutors and LL.B & GDL Programme & Student Lead at the University’s Birmingham campus, and Head of Undergraduate Programmes & Student Affairs. In 2019 Janet completed a Masters in Human Resource  Management at the Open University. 

Janet has previously been a member of the Birmingham Law Society Education & Training Committee and acts as an External Examiner for other institutions. Janet has recently been appointed as National Programme Director – LLB. In this role, she will be focusing on the development and overseeing the delivery of the University’s LL.B and other undergraduate law programs. Janet is particularly interested in student support and has published in pastoral support for undergraduate students.
