“I was surprised at the amount of support available for the physical and mental wellbeing of RGU students. This is also evident in the availability of an RGU Nightline where students can call in and share any concerns or stress they might be experiencing, as well as the fantastic RGU Sport facility which houses a massive swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym and yoga studio. The best thing about being an RGU student is the fact that life is very balanced here. There is a set time for everything from studies to fun and games.”
Ferrin Dsouza from Kuwait,Cyber Security MSc student
“The best thing about being an RGU student for me are the resources the University has put in place for students to better themselves. There are lots of learning materials on the eHub to learn relevant skills such as, how to write a cv, prepare for interviews, study effectively, take tests, and how to do coursework. There are also regular workshops and trainings (virtual and physical) on different skills which are all very helpful. I fell in love with ABS at first sight. The modules were designed to provide students with the theories, tools, and techniques to support the practical management of a business.”
Philip Osei from Ghana, Business and Mangement MSc student
“RGU gives a lot of support to students. Mental health is really important for a lot of people, and RGU is very aware of supporting students to balance their studies with their personal life. It's not all 'study, study, study."
Ibidunni Awe from Nigeria, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs MSc student
“My first impression of RGU was how beautiful the campus along the river was and I felt at home here right away. If I was going to give future students one piece of advice it would be to use the bus to explore the beautiful regions in Aberdeenshire, and the rest of Scotland. It really surprised me just how nice the people are here, how beautiful the nature is and how deep the history that is present in Scotland’s building and architecture felt. If I was to sum up my time at RGU in 3 words…. Eye-opening, adventure, amazing!”
