All Coventry University and Coventry University London international students (excluding EU) can save £1,000 per year on their course tuition fee starting in January and May 2025 with our Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarship. Our International Pathways Programme (IPP) and Coventry University Online courses are excluded from this award.
Award Details and Eligibility
Once an applicant has received a conditional offer and accepted their offer, on a full-time undergraduate taught course starting in January and May 2025, to be eligible they must meet the following conditions:
Applicants must be self-funded and paying international/overseas tuition fees.
Applicants can only combine this award with our Early Payment Discount and where applicable, our Direct Applicant Country Scholarship. The total amount awarded for your first year will be deducted off your first year’s tuition fee, final payment (or it will be deducted off your first payment where you are asked for your first year’s full tuition fee, upfront). £1,000 will be deducted from your tuition fee final payment for each subsequent academic year of enrolment. Details of your tuition fee payments due, will be outlined in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

All scholarships and discounts will be applied after enrolment.
The scholarship/discount is only applicable for January and May 2025 entry.
The scholarship/discount is only available to Coventry University and Coventry University London international applicants (excluding EU).
The scholarship/discount is only available for full-time undergraduate degrees.
The University reserves the right to withdraw subsequent £1,000 reductions after the first year if a student chooses to defer their studies.
The scholarship/discount will be awarded at the entire discretion of Coventry University.
The scholarship/discount is only available to self-funded students; sponsored students are not eligible.
This scholarship/discount is only combinable with those scholarships/discounts named above. It is not combinable with any other scholarship, bursary or discount including our Alumni Discount.
The scholarship/discount outlined is not open to applicants to CU Coventry, CU Scarborough, CU London, Coventry University Wroclaw, Coventry University Online or to our International Pathways Programme.
The University's decision on the interpretation of eligibility criteria is final and there is no right of appeal. You must comply with all requests for additional information to establish your eligibility in the timeframes specified and you must provide any proofs requested by the stated deadlines in your offer letter.
The University reserves the right to withdraw the discount from anyone who is found to have misled the University about any aspect of their eligibility and to seek repayment of any monies already paid by appropriate means.
There is no right of appeal against the University's decision in relation to your eligibility for the discount. You may make a complaint if you believe that you have not been considered for the discount because of a procedural error.
The University reserves the right to amend or withdraw the scholarship/discount at any time.
