The University of Lincoln Developing Futures Scholarship is designed to help support students from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Cyprus.

Who is it for?

The Lincoln Developing Futures Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of an undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme commencing in September/October 2023 or January/February 2024. This scholarship is designed to help students who are a national of, or have permanent residence in, one of the following countries:

Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Cyprus.

Scholarship Amount:

The Lincoln Developing Futures Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount in the first year of their studies.

Selection Criteria

In order to be eligible to receive the Developing Futures Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, one of the following countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, or Cyprus.

  • Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme commencing in September/October 2023 or January/February 2024.

  • Students intending to join a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programme must have been awarded, or be expected to receive, one of the following qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with a minimum grade of 2:2 or equivalent.

    • A Pre-Masters qualification from a recognised institution with a grade comparable to a 2:2.

    • A Master’s degree from a recognised institution with a merit grade or equivalent.
