The University of Manchester is proud to offer awards totalling more than £2.9 million to international students, commencing their studies in September 2023. The scholarship is open to both prospective bachelor’s and master’s students. Undergraduate awardsWe're offering 40 merit-based undergraduate scholarships of £5,000 to international students domiciled in the following countries in South Asia: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Please note the scholarship application form will only be made available to students who have applied and received an offer for a full-time undergraduate programme starting in 2023. Students must be taking one of the following qualifications: A-level (including international and Sri Lankan A-levels) IB, Indian Standard XII (CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat boards only). Award detailsThe Global Futures scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence and your responses to questions in the online application form which will be emailed to all eligible offer-holders. The 40 partial awards will be open to applicants domiciled in South Asia: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Each of awards comprise of £5,000 for the first year of study with a further £5,000 awarded in the second and third year of study, conditional on attainment of 60% average in each year. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of an appropriate discount against published tuition fees. Summary of eligibility criteriaApplications will be considered from international fee-paying students domiciled in the following countries in South Asia: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Master’s awardsWe're offering 91 merit-based master’s scholarships of £8,000 to international students domiciled in the following countries in South Asia: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Please note the scholarship application form will only be made available to students who have applied and received an offer for a full-time master’s starting in 2023. Award details91 awards of £8,000 will be awarded based on academic excellence and the quality of your responses in an online application form. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of an appropriate discount against published tuition fees.
