Join SI-UK for a Law Webinar with Queen's University Belfast on Thursday, May 4th at 5 pm ET. 

We will be joined by Senior Lecturer Martin Regan and Andrea McGuckin from the Queen's University Belfast Law School. 

Queen's University Belfast, originally founded in 1845, is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of universities and is located in Belfast, the Northern Ireland capital. QUB is ranked 8th for Law and 24th overall in the Times UK University Guide 2023.

Speaker profile: 

Dr Martin Regan is Director of Education and Senior Lecturer in the School of Law, Queen’s University Belfast. He teaches Criminal Liability, Law & Psychology and European Union Law, to undergraduate students. He also supervises research projects.

His interests include legal concepts with psychological elements, the role of emotion in law / legal processes, and justifications for criminalisation of behaviour. He also focuses on the development of transferable and legal skills,
and the use of group work and problem-based learning techniques in legal education.
