15:00 - 17:00 ET
SI-UK Toronto Office

We are pleased to welcome International Officer Greig Lawson from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh (QMU) to our Toronto office for a student meet and greet. Greig will be joined by Sarah Bond, part of the Pre-Registration Physiotherapy team at QMU and a current Canadian student Harini. This event will take place on Monday, January 22nd, from 3 - 5 pm ET.

Sarah, Harini and Greig will be on hand to meet students/parents and to talk in-depth about QMU's Allied Health programs, placements, options of returning to Canada or staying in the UK, as well as scholarships and much more.

They will also be able to chat with other students enquiring about QMU's programs, with an emphasis on Allied Health programs (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry and Speech and Language Therapy).

Sarah Bond:

Sarah Bond (BSc (Hons), MSc) is a Lecturer in the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division of Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. She worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in New Zealand for 3 years assisting in the rehabilitation of athletes in professional and amateur sports.

She has worked in a private Physiotherapy practice in Edinburgh and started working at QMU as an Assistant Lecturer part-time while she carried out her ongoing PhD.

Harini Rachakonda:

Harini is a 2nd year Masters student pursuing Diagnostic Radiography at Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. She holds a BSc (Honours) in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Life Sciences from Ontario Tech University (formerly UOIT) and two diplomas in Advanced Biotechnology from Centennial and Chemical Laboratory Technician from Seneca.

She notes that her experience at QMU has been very interesting with a blend of assignments, tasks and experience on placement sites. She chose QMU largely because of its highly friendly and supportive campus and because of its renowned staff and excellent learning facilities with high graduate employment rates.

Register and we will reach out to book a time slot at this meet and greet. Appointments can be made in person or online.
