We would like to invite you to join a Law webinar taking place at 5 pm ET, on Thursday, March 23rd with the University of Liverpool. The webinar will feature academic Dr. Jennifer Sigafoos, Associate Head of Department in the School of Law.
Liverpool Law School is one of the oldest law departments in the UK. With a commitment to a critical exploration of the role of law in promoting, or inhibiting, social justice, the School strives to influence public debate and policy at the local, national and international levels.
Dr. Jennifer Sigafoos, Associate Head of Department in the School of Law, will introduce the unique offerings for those studying Law at Liverpool as well as key features of the School and University academic experience. Two current Liverpool Law students will also be present to share their experiences and answer your questions about academic and social life in Liverpool.
Academic Profile
Dr. Sigafoos earned her Juris Doctor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and is admitted to the Bar in the state of California (inactive). Prior to relocating to the UK, she was Director of Public Policy and in-house Counsel at a large charity.
Dr. Sigafoos joined the School of Law at the University of Liverpool in 2012 as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate after completing her DPhil at the University of Oxford. Her research interests and projects span access to social welfare law rights, health justice and charity law and policy.
