Virtual Fair: Studying an accelerated LLB in Scotland (with the University of Aberdeen)

Catherine W Ng joined the Aberdeen School of Law as a lecturer. After a period of private practice in Toronto, she completed her LLM in intellectual property law at Osgoode Hall Law School (Canada), her DPhil at the University of Oxford (UK), and her post-doctorate work at the Graduate Institute (then, 'Institute universitaire de hautes etudes internationales' or 'HEI', Switzerland). She went on to complete her term as Oxford-HEI Europaeum scholar there. Her DPhil Thesis won the first British Brands Group Prize.
Her principal teaching and research interests are in the laws relating to intellectual property and personality rights, the media, marketing, advertising, and merchandising, the arts, history, and cultural heritage. Her research has been funded by the Carnegie Trust.
She is a member of the Centre for Commercial Law as well as the Centre for Scots Law.
