Overview

Welcome to Richmond upon Thames College’s pages for international students. We are proud that students from so many different countries around the world choose to come to study at our college. We feel they make a special contribution to our rich and successful learning community. Whether you choose Richmond upon Thames College for its record of academic success or its superb facilities, or perhaps for its enviable situation “between city and country”, we do not think you will regret it.

The College was established in 1977 and today has over 7,000 enrolments, of which almost 4,000 are full-time students. We currently have over 250 foreign students from over 40 different countries.

Richmond upon Thames is one of the most beautiful and safest parts of London, and the area is renowned for its history and wide range of leisure and cultural services. The college is just 20 minutes from the centre of London by train and only 12 km from Heathrow Airport.

We specialise in preparing people for university and higher education and offer approximately 600 different subjects, including a range of English as a Foreign Language courses. We send more students to university each year than any other college in Europe.

We consider the welfare of our students to be vitally important and so have established a framework of care to try and meet all their needs.
