Strathclyde Business School is delighted to be able to offer a number of Masters Scholarships for September 2024. Candidates must be deemed International for Fee Status and Scholarship awards will be to the value of £9,000 to £12,000 dependent on subject area and course fee.

The Scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in both their Scholarship Application and their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.

Eligibility

Important things to note

  • Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on an SBS MSc programme for the September 2024 intake and also be deemed International with regards to Fee Status.

  • Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

  • Online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.

  • Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2024. 

  • Strathclyde Business School's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.

  • Please do not submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements submitted will remain under consideration.

Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen programme and why they should be awarded this scholarship.  

Scholarship awardees will also be expected to engage with a variety of activities during their course of study, including:

  • Monitoring and contributing to future applicant forums and responding with information regarding the relevant course.

  • Taking an active role in either the social committee or class rep committee.

  • Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students.

  • Assisting the school in the development and management of events.

  • Retaining alumni communication post MSc completion.
